The beautiful Doña Diana doesn't add only a nice color to your collection, it is easy to build as well and even suitable for modelers without extensive experience. The included deck cargo invites to build a diorama.
This well designed model kit by Till Schade shows a typical Axe-Bow ship. This unusal ship type is not often seen in the modelling world. The eye-catching blue hull makes this model a highlight in every ship models collection.
Doña Diana is easy to build, not boring, and suitable for modelers who don't possess extensive modelling experience. The manageable number of parts indicates that this model also is perfectly suited to build "in between" - for example when a bigger project doesn't go further for a while.
Crew tender tranport almost everything that's needed. We have added some deck cargo to this kit but in the end there's no limitation to your fantasy. This model would also look great in a diorama.
The model highlights:
- axe-Bow ship
- including deck cargo
- eye-catching coloring
- including spotlights

Damen Shipyards has a worldwide reputation for modular ship building - especially for work boats. For some years now they offer the Fast Crew Suppliler 5009. Not only because of the innovative Axe-Bow technology this ship is extremly maneuverable even in high seas. The success of this ship especially for drilling platforms is based on it's stable handling even in rough weather conditions and on it's very competitive initial costs.
The customers chooses his motorization and depending on his decision the top speed will be somewhere between 20 and over 30 knots. The maximim range at top speed is about 3,100 nautical miles. The 5009 is powered by four propellers with 2 rudders in total. On top of that she has two fins to stabilize the course. Regarding configuration there are almost no limits. Damen builds what the customer wants.
Naviera Integral - a mexican offshore company - ordered Doña Diana for their operation in the gulf of Mexica. She supplies drilling platforms with material and crews. The main target was to replace the much more expensive supply by helicopter. In between Naviera Integral took 7 more ships of the same type in their service. The newest one - Don Benjamin - was launched in 2014.
Till Schade delivered another great design with Doña Diana. It's not too difficult to build but also has enough details for the ambitious modeler. And Doña Diana is another colorful highlight in the big HMV range.
