The model was created in continuous exchange with the cathedral architect, who provided access to all - including medieval - archival materials. This resulted in an extremely faithful model in 1:250 scale with fine graphics, such as an authentic reproduction of the sandstone masonry. It can also be built in a simpler version without the numerous window lintels. The additional model included as a bonus in 1:500 scale is a nod to advanced cardboard model builders.
