Jeroen van den Worm drew this beautiful model. In the collector's scale of 1:250, this model is sure to find many fans. The level of detail promises a lot of building fun.
One of the following three variants can be built from this kit:
Ms Tjiwangi before the conversion in 1963: black hull, open side galleries, 6 electric cranes, 10 sloops and a number of black superstructure decks.
Ms Tjiwangi after the conversion in 1963: white hull, partly closed side galleries, 4 electric cranes, 7 sloops, partly (adapted) green decks and two swimming pools.
Ms Tjiluwah after the renovation in 1963: white hull, partly closed side galleries, 4 electric cranes, 7 sloops, partly (adapted) green decks and two swimming pools.

The ms Tjiwangi and the ms Tjiluwah of the (Royal) Java China Paketvaart Lijnen NV (KJCPL) in Amsterdam were intended for services in the SE Asian waters.
The ms Tjiwangi was launched in 1950, the ms Tjiluwah in 1951.
In the early 1960s, both ships were rebuilt and painted white. The ms Tjiwangi was sold to Pacific International Lines (Singapore) in 1971 and renamed ms Kota Bali in 1974. The ms Tjiwangi was scrapped in 1980, the ms Tjiluwah (as ms Kota Singapurar) in 1984. At a length of 146 m, they could carry a maximum of 2000 (!) passengers and 200 crew members.
