This lighthouse was complete built in shipyard in Wilhelmshaven and then transferred to his position on July 14th, 1965. The sectors from “Tegeler Plate” identify the waterway from “Alter Weser” and “Neuer Weser”. Therefore it is one of the most important navigation marks in the Weser estuary.
