Two models are included in this kit. The hull sides for seven different sister ships (S7-S13) are included. The pier is part of the kit as well.

The fast attack craft of the Kriegsmarine of this period had countless little detials on board. This model shows them precisely and very filigree. That is why this model kit is not suitable for beginners and asks for some experience in building HMV models. But the efforts will be rewarded with one or better two very attractive and detailed models.

The model kit includes two models, a pier, and hull sides for all seven boats. With four kits you can easily build the whole flotilla. The details of these models are superb and even with all those little parts it is great fun to build. If the optional Lasercut Set is used building these models gets a lot easier. The result is worth the effort anyway.

The model highlights:

  • torpedo tubes on deck
  • mount and tripper for depth charges
  • detailed 2 cm antiaircraft gun
  • filigree signal stand
  • hull sides for all version S7-S13
  • alternative version Reichsmarine or Kriegsmarine
  • including pier

In March 1935 the German Reichsmarine was renamed in Kriegsmarine. Back then the German Navy owned 8 fast attack crafts S1-S8. These boats were part of the first fast attack half flotilla together with the cruiser Tsingtau. In Nuje 1935 S9 was commissioned and the flotilla was renamed in 1. Schnellbootflotille (fast attack craft flotilla)

The following fast attack crafts S10 – S13 were equipped with much more powerful engines from Daimler. But still these boats couldn’t reach the requested cruising speed. The next series S14 – S17 was built with MAN L11 Diesel engines.
