Port Facility - Dockside Cranes 1

This model kit includes eight cranes - four on portals and four on half-portals. This tpye of crane is typical for the twenties and thirties of the 20th century. But even after the second world war these cranes were often still used in Hamburg's harbour.

This kit contains eight dockside cranes: Four portal cranes and four semi-portal cranes which are to be attached to a warehouse or shelter. These cranes were typically built in the 1920s and 1930s, but they were used for decades and could be found in Hamburg harbor nearly until the end of the 20th century.
